A PENSIONER from with one of the country's most prolific criminal records has been jailed after committing offence number 464 on Anglesey.

David Valencia, of Greenfield Road, Colwyn Bay, pleaded guilty to a breach of a criminal behaviour order after he had an open bottle of alcohol at a bus stop.

Angharad Mullarkey, prosecuting at a special weekend court at Llandudno, said an ambulance was called to Bryngwran, Anglesey, on Friday.

Valencia, 69, was extremely drunk and had an open bottle. When interviewed by police he had no recollection of the incident.

The previous day he had been in court and given a community order for assault on a housing officer.

Glyn Roberts, defending, said the assault involved a push.

“He has many problems but is heavily dependent on alcohol and clearly needs help," he added.

Valencia had been to visit his brother at Bryngwran and was arrested after waiting for a bus.

He was sent to prison for eight weeks and told he'd breached the order persistently, the last time just a day after appearing in court.
