TASTER sessions to help people explore Gwynedd's archived past are being held in Caernarfon and Dolgellau.

Gwynedd Council staff are hosting the events to help give the public a chance to make the most of the county's historical collections, records and artefacts.

By learning how to access archived material it is hoped people will be better able to explore the stories and facts about their communities.

The taster courses will be held at Dolgellau Record Office on Wednesday, November 21, with Welsh language sessions from 11am to 1pm, and an English language session from 2pm to 4pm.

The sessions at the Caernarfon Record Office will be held on Saturday, November 24, with a Welsh medium session from 11am to 1pm and the English language session from 2pm to 4pm.
