AN ANGLESEY Town lit up the sky on Remembrance Sunday - with one of its churches turning red to remember the fallen.
St. Eleth's church, which has garnered media attention in the past few weeks for its colourful poppy display, was the focal point for the town's remembrance service.
The parade left the fire station at 9.15am before heading down towards the church, with the parade being led by a Tacla Taid Land Rover covered in poppies.
A service was then held outside the cenotaph along with a two minute silence and a single gun salute.
Local children then read out the names of Amlwch's 101 fallen war heroes who lost their lives in the First World War and place a cross on the grounds of the church.
The town's parade, led by Rev. Kev Ellis, consisted of current serving soldiers, veterans, emergency service personnel, school children and other members of the community.
Residents also held a "Remembrance Noson Lawen" event at the Memorial Hall on Saturday night, with proceeds going to the commonwealth graves commission.
