A DISABILITY swimming squad has received £150 from Neyland Ladies Choir.
The choir recently performed at a concert for the Mauchlineware Collectors Club at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, which was organised by past choir member Erene Grieve.
During the evening proceeds from the raffle were shared between the Collector Club charity of the year, and a charity chosen by choir chairman, Carol Scale.
Pembrokeshire Puffins Disability Swimming Squad, where choir member Jill Byrant is a volunteer, was the chosen recipient.
The Puffins Disability Swimming Squad has members from all over the county from 7 years of age to 35 and they meet weekly on a Sunday afternoon at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.
Carol and Sheila Griffiths, choir secretary, along with other committee members met with the Puffins Squad during their Sunday session and were delighted to present the youngsters with a cheque for £150.
