Police have appealed for witnesses
Police have appealed for witnesses to an 'altercation' which is alleged to have taken place on a Newtown estate.
Police say a male in a people carrier got into an argument with a group of people which descended into violence near Orchid Walk on Sunday afternoon, October 28, at around 4pm.
The statement from officers reads: "The incident took place in Maeshyrandir by Orchid Walk and involved a male in a blue Volkswagen Sharan and a group of people having a verbal argument and altercation where punches and kicks were allegedly thrown.
"If any witnesses would like to come forward can they please call 101 and ask to speak to PC 1019 Osborne or colleagues at Newtown station, or visit the station in person. "
