A NEW post office has recently opened in Llangefni.

The PO is now at Siop Ellis, Church Street, and opened on Monday, November 5.

The development is part of a modernisation and investment programme, across the Post Office network.

The office will be open seven days a week, from 6am to 9pm; Monday to Sunday.

The new branch offers customers a range of postal services, from posting letters and parcels, to collecting and returning online shopping items.

Customers will also be able to take advantage of a range of banking services. Customers of main UK banks can access accounts at the new branch, and services include bill payment, cash withdrawals and foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.

Carol Williams, Post Office area network change manager said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.”

She added: “We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office will ensure that people in the community have easy access to our services.”
