ORGANISERS say they are looking forward to the next important date in the farmers' diary, the Anglesey Winter Show.
The 26th annual event, organised by the Anglesey Agricultural Society, is being held at the Mona Showground, on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11.
The popular show, presided over by Geraint W Roberts, boasts a host of livestock exhibitions, produce exhibitions, craft stalls and machinery.
The classes for livestock, lamb carcass, cookery, crafts and photography will take place on the Saturday.
This year, activities start an hour earlier, on the Saturday, with the ground open to the public at 8am. Exhibitors enter at 6.30am
The horse competitions take place on the Sunday, and entry to the public is free of charge, no ticket required. The ground is open to exhibitors at 8am and the public at 9am.
A minute's silence will also be held to observe Remembrance Sunday at 11am.
According to show administrator and company secretary Aled W Hughes, the show is already looking promising.
"We are very much looking forward to our winter show and the entries are looking very good, especially in the sheep competition sections.
"We have had more entries this year, beating last year's numbers, which is very good considering it is the winter show and taking into account movement restrictions.
"We do hope people will come and along to enjoy and support the show."
