A surprise Halloween themed dance performance took place in Welshpool over the half term; a group of mums and their babies performed Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' outside the town hall.
The flash mob took place on the afternoon of Thursday, November 1, and passers by stopped to watch and take photos.
The group behind the performance is called Sling Swing: a local dance group based in Welshpool and Shrewsbury, for parents and their little ones to learn to dance together.
One of the dancing mums, Crystal Burt-Humphreys, said: “It went really well. It’s something different that Welshpool doesn’t see very often.
“I think they enjoyed it as much as we did!”
Crystal is also the owner of Riffels music shop in Welshpool. Equipment from the store was used for the big performance on Broad Street.
Cassandra Williams, the instructor, said the club is about "bonding and having fun and getting to know other mums".
Cassandra said they decided to do the Halloween flash mob simply because they "love Halloween". "It's just about looking a bit creepy for one day and spending time together.
We spent the morning getting ready together having fun."
The group also performed in Shrewsbury a few days earlier, on Monday, October 29.
