Emergency services were called out to a fire involving an acetylene cylinder in Four Crosses.
Crews from Welshpool and Llanfyllin attended the fire at a commercial property at 12.41pm on Thursday, November 1.
A Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue spokesperson said crews left the incident at 3.27pm after the fire was extinguished and cooled down using a hose reel jet.
The B4393 between Four Crosses and Llandrinio was closed during that time and has since re-opened.
