Bonfire Night is an important annual date on a lot of calendars in the Conwy county.

While Llandudno held it’s main firework extravaganza display a week early there are still a number of Bonfire Night events yet to be held.

Llanfairfechan Town Council’s annual firework display will take place on Friday 9th November at 6:30pm on the Promenade.

Mayor, cllr Andrew Hinchliff, said: "We are really pleased to organise this event for our community. An official display gives families the chance to enjoy a good firework display in safety."

Penmaenmawr will also be holding their own fireworks display, organised by the Sailing Club with the support of Penmaenmawr Town Council.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 10, at 5.30pm until 8pm outside the sailing club house on the promenade.

Club Commodore Gerry Frobisher said: “This event is put on annually with the help of Penmaenmawr Town Council, and hosted by volunteers from the Sailing Club to bring a community Bonfire and Fireworks Display for all the family to come to and enjoy.

“Hot food and drinks will be available from 5.30pm, with a musical countdown to lighting the bonfire at 6pm and fireworks at 6.15pm.

“So bring your family and friends for a great evening at the club."

Conwy Valley Rotary Club is once again holding the annual Llanrwst Fireworks Spectacular on Friday, November 9 at Plas-yn-Dre (Glasdir) car park.

Gates open at 5.30pm in readiness for the fireworks display to start at 7.00pm. There will also be fairground attractions together with hot dogs, burgers, hot and cold drinks provided by the Rotary Club.

Bodafon Farm Park will be holding Bon Fire Night celebrations on site on Monday, November 5. The event will start at 5pm and run through until 10pm.
