Police in Newtown are appealing for information after batteries were stolen from a truck yard in the town.
Officers have asked members of the public to be on the look-out for thieves trying to sell-on the stolen goods after 'at least ten' truck batteries were stolen.
The appeal from Dyfed Powys police said: "At least 10 Truck batteries have been stolen from a truck yard in Newtown, Powys and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
"In particular, we would ask members of the public to contact us if anyone is seen trying to sell these batteries to another party."
Anyone with information should contact Dyfed-Powys police on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
