A Powys man has been named as the victim of a motorcycle accident in Hereford.

Herefordshire Coroner's Office said an inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of 31-year-old Scott David Morris from near Newtown.

According to a statement from West Mercia Police, Mr Morris' blue Kawasaki motorcycle crashed with a parked and unattended Ford Fiesta Style in Ryelands Street, Hereford just before 6am on Sunday, September 30.

He was later pronounced dead at Hereford County Hospital.

Sergeant Kerry Welding of West Mercia Police said they were looking to speak to anyone who could help them with information on the incident.

"To assist our investigation we're keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help with our enquiries," she said.
