BROWNIES from Milford Haven and Hakin enjoyed a fun-packed holiday, thanks to help from Tesco.

The supermarket's Bags for Help scheme awarded the youth groups £1,000 towards its recent Sealyham adventure weekend, which saw 38 youngsters try activities such as canoeing, abseiling, archery and a muddy assault course, as well as a range of crafts based on a unicorn theme.

Gemma Eagle, assistant leader for 7th Milford Haven Brownies, said: "Every girl had a great time and were able to build confidence and friendships."

Added Helen Davies, leader of 7th Milford Haven Brownies, said the girls were thrilled to have been involved in the initiative, and Brownies and leaders thanked Tesco for its generous support.

Milford Haven Brownies also recently collected a whopping £850 by packing bags at the supermarket.

"We are extremely grateful to Debbie Mills of Tesco for organising the bag pack, and also to the very generous Tesco customers who allowed girls to pack their bags and empties their change into their buckets," said Alexia Morgans-Hurley.

"The Brownies are very grateful to all who contributed.

"The money will be spent on a Christmas treat, to be decided by the Brownies."
