The cleaning department at Powys County Council has taken top prize in a national award scheme.
The department has won the Best Service Team (Facilities Management & Building Cleaning Service) in the Association for Public Service Excellence Service Awards.
The accolades celebrate the very best in local government services across the UK, with a focus on recognising innovation and continuous improvement.
Cllr Phyl Davies, Powys County Council’s Cabinet Member with responsibility for the Catering & Cleaning Service, said: "This is a tremendous achievement for the team - not only to be shortlisted against competition from across the UK, but to win.
"I would like to congratulate all of the team members for their hard work."
