An elderly man was knocked down in a collision with a van in Welshpool this afternoon (Thursday, September 6).
Police were called to the scene on Church Street at 1.56pm.
Police officers held up an umbrella as paramedics saw to the man, covering him in an emergency blanket and placing him on a stretcher.
He was then lifted into the ambulance.
Part of the one-way system is currently closed and a diversion is in place.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.
