A £15,000 bronze elf statue has been stolen from a country home.
The valuable water sculpture - called The Drinker - was taken from the rural property in Crickhowell near Brecon, Powys, on Thursday.
Dyfed-Powys Police say they are investigating the theft, which happened sometime between 10am and 8pm, and are appealing for information - but have not revealed the exact location of the home.
A spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the theft of a bronze statue, taken from a country house in the Crickhowell area. The theft happened sometime between 10am and 8pm on Thursday, August 16.
"The statue is worth £15,000. Anyone with information is asked to report it to PC 884 James Page, by calling 101.
