DESPITE the adverse weather forecast and one storm in the afternoon, the 10th annual Norton Show took place last Sunday, August 12, at Home Farm, Norton by kind permission of The Lloyd family, and proved one of the county’s biggest events.

The show was officially opened by the show chairman Dan Price, and Presteigne and Norton County Councillor Beverley Baynham, and events included Horse, Pony and Dog shows, Show Jumping, a vintage vehicle and tractor displays and runs, archery, car boot sale, bouncy castle, army assault course, magic show, ferret racing, children’s go carts, and a quilters exhibitions.

Horticultural, cookery, home grown produce, floral art and children’s competitions were all held in the grand marquee.
