Firefighters fighting the blaze on the Golfa
This afternoon firefighters from Llanfair Caereinion Fire & Rescue assisted Welshpool Fire Station in extinguishing a blaze on a large area of field and hedgerow.
The firefighters arrived at the site fire on the Golfa at just after 3pm.
They successfully put out the fire using beaters, two hose reels and a fogging unit.
