The sun came out as Richard Kay took the bragging rights in the second round of the North Shropshire Wheelers 10-mile time trial series last week.
He crossed the line in 23 minutes and 37 seconds, putting him ahead of the 12 other riders.
Second place went to Tim Rex, who was more than a minute behind with a time of 24:55, while Gareth Brookes was third in 25:39.
Dave Drew closely followed for fourth in 25:44, with Les Boughey fifth in 26:35, Dave Vart in sixth in 27:46, James Neal seventh in 28:28, and Terry Price just over the 30-minute mark for eighth in 30:14.
Leading the way for the ladies was Helene Belmans who took ninth in a time of 31:17, followed by Caroline Lloyd who was 10th in 31:39, Shaune Clorley was 11th in 33:40, and rounding things off was Linda Beckett in a time of 33:42 who came 12th.
