A rare occasion occurred early on Monday morning as quintuplets were born to a Welsh Mule sheep on a Radnorshire farm.
The five lambs were all born on the Powell family farm in Rhayader.
This was not a new experience at Llwyngwilym farm on the outskirts of Rhayader, owned by Liz and Howell Powell, as they had the same experience a few years ago during the lambing season, when five lambs were born to one ewe.
With the lambs, whilst the ewe is keeping a close watch on everyone, are members of the Powell family.
The family members include Ben and Jake Powell with Gemma Davies and Becky Ingram, together with grandchildren Archie Powell, Monty Powell and Sydney Powell as they hold the new born lambs.
