BOOMTOWN’S seventh district announcement enters ChinaTown, the festival’s centre of technology and trade.

Have your senses stimulated from all angles, with intense aromas, neon lights and detailed shop facades creating a vibe of mystery, mayhem and music.

At the heart of the bustling neighbourhood are the sounds of ska and punk; music that lies at the very core of BoomTown’s history and heritage.

Previously announced artists on the Lion’s Den and Town Centre stages are Madness, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Mad Caddies, Asian Dub Foundation, The Selecter, Bad Manners, Neville Staple Band, The Slackers, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, plus the addition of Chainska Brassika.

Devil Kicks Dancehall is an abandoned 1950s diner where you’ll find the finest punk, ska, psycho, folk-punk & anarcho bands.

Bringing the noise from all over the UK, Europe and United States are the likes of Big D and the Kid’s Table, Leftover Crack, Senser, Street Dogs, Jaya The Cat, Talco, The King Blues and Inner Terrestrials.

The Chinatown Courtyard is the place to get your skank on; a flat-out, ska-fuelled party from daylight into night.

Making you sweat are Ska Vengers, Will & The People, The Riffs, Spred The Dubs, By The Rivers, Buster Shuffle, Caravãna Sun, Goldmaster Allstars, The JB Conspiracy, Land Of The Giants and many more.

Those looking for an intimate and energetic ska-punk experience should check out The Last Stand, where acts include Days N Daze, The Lagan, Ratbag, Lenny Lashley’s Gang of One, The Roughneck Riot and Matilda’s Scoundrels.
