Llanidloes neighbourhood policing team

Sergeant Suzanne Lloyd

T/PS Suzanne Lloyd transferred to Dyfed-Powys Police in 2006 after serving six years with the West Midlands Police. She has spent four years as a Road Policing Officer and has also spent time within CID. Suzanne is currently the Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant after having been stationed in Llanidloes as Beat Manager for Llanidloes and surrounding areas. Suzanne lives locally and is keen to work closely with the community to increase public confidence and satisfaction. She said, "I am looking forward to the challenge of a new role within Neighbourhood Policing. I firmly believe that my fifteen years of experience both in city and rural areas will assist me in delivering community policing effectively and prove valuable in seeking to resolve the varying issues that arise."

PCSO Geraldine Jones

PCSO Geraldine Jones joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team in October 2012 for Newtown Town. Geraldine is local to the area and has worked for Dyfed Powys Police for over 20 years. She enjoys interacting with the public, problem solving and team work.

PCSO Daryl McWatt

PCSO Daryl McWatt joined Dyfed Powys Police in November 2016. He currently lives in Newtown, and knows Llanidloes very well, having worked in the town and surrounding areas in the past. Daryl went to University in Aberystwyth and gained a BSc Econ degree in Criminology. Daryl said "I'm really looking forward to getting involved with the community in Llanidloes; I enjoy new challenges and believe I can add something new to the already strong Neighbourhood Policing Team here"
