Roll up, roll up! Step right this way as the internationally acclaimed NoFit State Circus makes its Green Man debut with their spectacular performance
installation Open House! Open House is a joyous menagerie of circus chaos to set the crowds alive. Directed by Orit Azaz, it swaps the traditional big top for a caravanned
colony of musicians, acrobats and aerialists in an ever-evolving spectacle where anything can happen. Green Man's Fiona Stewart, said: “We have wanted our very talented friends NoFit State to come to the festival for many years and its brilliant that
it’s finally happening. Their show Open House is not to be missed – we promise that you won’t have seen anything quite like it before! “I also want to thank the brilliant people of Arts Council Wales for their support of NoFit State at Green Man, it’s going to be an unforgettable
experience for many and they have helped make that happen.” Ali Williams, creative director of NoFit State Circus, adds: “As a Welsh company we are delighted to be playing the most nationally respected and
exciting festival in Wales. Green Man is a massive supporter and showcase of the best of contemporary Welsh arts and it’s great to be involved.” “Open House is the perfect project for Green Man,” says Ali, who loves giving people a chance to run away with the circus. “The famously friendly Green
Man crowd can join in the action and become part of the performance, while we'll feel perfectly at home in the breath-taking beauty of the Brecon Beacons.” NoFit State has visited 18 different countries over the last five years, playing to over 350,000 people. Greenman takes place from August 14 to 17 in the Black Mountains (near Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons). Tickets are available from www.greenman.net.
