The Bull & Heifer is a small but vibrant country pub in the heart of the village Bettws Cedewain, near Newtown.

It’s a traditional black and white public house, with oodles of character and charm, where you are sure of a warm welcome whenever you arrive.

The pub was refurbished from the old village post office, so the building has always been a huge part of the village.

The locals bar is the most vibrant place in the area on a Friday night.

The pub prides itself on bringing together the community spirit for everyone in the local village, as well as newcomers who visit.

A pub spokesperson added: "Another thing we are proud of is our locally-sourced ingredients used for our food menu. Only the finest produce is selected, resulting in mouth-watering meals for the whole family.

"Additionally, our range of ales, bottled beers, gins, spirits and new 'bull buckets' and 'heifer jugs' will keep thirsts quenched throughout your time with us.

"Our beer garden can seat up to 90 guests, whether it be in the fenced garden, or in our new marquee which is perfect for outdoor private party bookings.

"Another bonus is that we are dog friendly and welcome customers and their four-legged friends to join us in our beer garden or bar area of the pub."
