NOTICE OF PROPOSAL HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (B4214, TENBURY ROAD, BROMYARD) (30 MPH AND 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that the County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council, in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to make the above named order the effect of which will be to extend the existing 30 mph speed limit from its current northernmost termination point on the B4214 Tenbury Road Bromyard by a distance of 71 metres by implementing a 30 mph speed limit from a point 41 metres southeast of the centre line of the junction with the U65438 Porthouse Industrial Estate to a point 119 metres northwest of the centre line of the junction with the U65438 Porthouse Industrial Estate and to introduce a 40 mph speed limit from a point 119 metres northwest of the centre line of the junction with the U65438 Porthouse Industrial Estate for a distance of 470 metres in a generally northerly direction. This will require the revocation of the County of Hereford and Worcester (Restricted Roads) (No 6) Order 1987.

The deadline for the receipt of objections is 12:00 noon on Friday 5 October 2018. Representations of support will also be received during this time.
