HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(KENT AVENUE AND SUSSEX AVENUE, ROSS-ON-WYE)
(ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
AND
HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, LEOMINSTER)
(WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND RESIDENTS PERMIT PARKING) ORDER 2021
The County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51 and, 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Orders, the general effect of which will be to introduce:
Kent and Sussex Avenue Ross on Wve
1. No WaiBng at Any Time (Double Yellow Line) restrictions on the following stretches of road:

Kent Avenue (Southern Side)
? From its junction with Alton Street to its junction with Sussex Avenue - a distance of 107m

? From its junction with Walford Road to its junction with Sussex Avenue - a distance on 154m

Kent Avenue (Northern Side)
? From its junction with Walford Road for a distance of 24m in an easterly direction

? From its junction with Alton Street for a distance of 10m in a south­westerly direction

? From its junction with Sussex Avenue for a distance of 3m in a north­easterly direction

Sussex Avenue (Western Side)
? From its junction with Walford Road to its junction with Kent Avenue - a distance of 112m

? From its junction with Kent Avenue for a distance of 21 m in a south­easterly direction

Sussex Avenue (Eastern Side)
? From its junction with Walford Road for a distance of 20m in a south­easterly direction

? From its junction with Kent Avenue for a distance of 20m in a north­westerly direction

? From its junction with Kent Avenue south-east to the limit of its adoption -a distance of 116m

2. A One-Way Traffic Order where the following directions of travel are permitted on the following stretches of road:

Kent Avenue (Southwest Bound Only)
? From its junction with Sussex Avenue to its junction with Walford Road Kent Avenue (Northeast Bound Only)

? From its junction with Sussex Avenue to its junction with Alton Street Sussex Avenue (Southeast Bound Only)

? From its junction with Walford Road to it junction with Kent Avenue Various Roads Leominster

1. No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Line) restrictions on The Meadows, Townsend Close, Thomas Court and Green Lane

2. Limited Waiting Bays (Monday to Saturday 09:00-17:00 2 hours no return within 4 hours) on Green Lane

3. Resident Permit Holder Parking Bay (Monday to Saturday 09:00-17:00) on Green Lane and Thomas Court

Due to the difficulty for local authorities to make documents relating to traffic regulation orders available for public inspection in their offices during the coronavirus pandemic The Traffic Orders Procedure (Coronavirus) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2020 (which came into force on 23 May 2020) have been introduced to enable local authorities to put alternative arrangements in place to make documents available to the public. The following alternative arrangements are in place to allow the public to view or obtain copies of documents giving further details of these proposals:

in the Proposed Traffic Regulation Order section.

Photocopies of the same may be provided on payment of photocopying charges at the Council.

Objections to these proposals together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the Traffic Management Team, ADL Traffic and Highways Engineering Ltd, ADL House, Oaklands Business Park, Armstrong Way, Yate, Bristol BS37 5NA, or by email to

. The deadline for the receipt of objections is 12:00 noon on Friday 26 March 2021. Representations of support will also be received during this time.
Any representations received by the Council may be Imparted to third parties. We will keep your data for up to 7 years. Your information may be shared with other Balfour Beatty teams within Herefordshire and Herefordshire Council in order to provide you with the service.
