ALAN BEVAN Of The Granary, Trelystan. Felicity and family would like to thank everyone for the sympathy and support shown to them at this sad time. Your kind words and messages have been a great comfort. We were touched to see so many friends from near and far gather at Trelystan Church to bid Alan farewell. Our thanks to Rev. Bill Rowell for conducting the funeral service, Keith and Janet Jones for the use of their marquee and Linda Turner for refreshments; also Rod Stevens and Mike Rosen for a haunting rendition of 'Gone Away'. We are grateful for the many generous donations in Alan's memory to the Lingen Davies appeal and Trelystan Church. Especial thanks to RG Peate, Welshpool for managing the funeral arrangements.
