Madge Daniels

Daniels Audrey Madge of Cyfronydd. The funeral took place at St Garmon's Churchyard on July 9 2020. She was born in Welshpool, one of three children to Blanche and Tom Jones. She was predeceased by her brother Tom and sister Betty. On leaving school Audrey joined the Civil service in the Agriculture and Veterinary departments. After her marriage to Edward (Danny) in 1950 she left the service to start the first boarding kennels and cattery in the area, serving the public for 37 years. She served on Forden district council serving the Castle Caereinion area, she was a faithful member of Castle Caereinion Church serving as Church warden, she was a former governor of the school, for many years she organised the dog section at Llanfair show. in 1967 she was awarded the RSPCA gold medal for her service to the organisation. Audrey leaves her son Christopher, two wonderful grandchildren Tara and Oliver. Christopher and family wish the thank everyone for the kindness and sympathy shown to them, for all the cards and kind donations given in memory. Thanks also to the bearers and Geraint Peate for his care of the funeral arrangements.
