GREG Draper led the TNS fightback to prevail over Connahs Quay Nomads on Friday.
A scrappy first half saw Ryan Brobbel twice test Nomads goalkeeper Jon Danby before the visitors broke the deadlock through Nathan Bakare on 33 minutes and held their slender lead until the break.
The Saints continued to toil and were rewarded on the hour when Brobbel was hauled down in the area by Andy Owen for Greg Draper to drill home the resulting penalty.
TNS led for the first time seven minutes later with Ryan Pryce crashing an unstoppable shot beyond Danby.
Nomads rang the changes in an effort to get back into the game but TNS sealed victory with Draper sweeping home Brobbel’s cross with five minutes remaining.
