COBRA underlined their ambitions for next season by ending their second division campaign with a 35-17 victory over champions Dinbych.
Defences dominated the first-half but the hosts broke the deadlock with centre Llew Williams bursting over for a try, converted by Will Worthington.
The second-half came alive as Dinbych hit back inside the opening minute with a try from scrum-half Garin Roberts, converted by Dan O’Sullivan.
The visitors established a slender lead with captain Tom Seddon completing a counter attack to cross the whitewash.
However COBRA rallied with their forwards proceeding to dominate the remainder of the match.
No8 Ryan Goodwin picked up from a set scrum to forced his way over the line with Worthington converting to edge COBRA ahead.
Denbigh hit back with a try of their own with Gruff Roberts breaking before offloading to Dafydd Cartwight to cross for a try.
COBRA regained the lead with hooker Steve Isaac ploughed over from close range following a five metre line out with Worthington adding the extras.
COBRA sealed a bonus point soon after with flanker Lee Hughes intercepting and breaking upfield before releasing wing Ieuan Williams to cross with Worthington converting with the hosts tally and season completed by a late penalty try.
Meanwhile Machynlleth handed Dinbych IIs a fright before slipping to a 40-34 defeat in division three of the North Wales League.
Machynlleth remained in contention throughout with two tries each from Kameron Simmons-Sandy and Ryan Blockley and further efforts from James Owen and Rob Mercer while Simmons-Sandy and Gruff Jones each added a conversion for the Mid Wales side
