BUILTH Wells gave high flying local rivals Ystradgynlais a bloody nose with a derby victory at the Groe.
A heated derby clash saw the Bulls lead with skipper Rhys Davies crossing after a good spell of pressure with Harr Jenkinson converting.
Jenkins gave the Bulls a 10 point lead with a penalty following an infringement at the ruck.
However Ystradgynlais replied with a try from Nathan Caplan with the conversion reducing the deficit to three points at the break.
The opening 20 minutes of the second-half saw Ystradgynlais finally penalised for a succession of infringements by being reduced to 14 men.
Builth capitalised and a secured victory with tries from Ben Pugh and man of the match Davies who celebrated his second of the day.
