RGC travelled to Pontypridd to take on Cardiff Blues in the WRU Women’s Championship on Sunday.
The North Wales under 18s side included Welshpool duo Ellis Tudor and Sophie Licence-Law in their ranks but could not prevent their side slipping to a 42-0 defeat.
Meanwhile Welshpool’s Grace Johns made her first senior start with COBRA’s Grace Hill and Siony Rudd also flying the Mid Wales flag in the first team.
A thrilling clash at Sardis Road ended with the Blues snatching a 10-8 victory with Elen Evans’ try and a penalty from Elinor Isaac just not enough for Dave Roberts’ improving North Wales squad.
