CHAZ Davies celebrated his first win of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) season in Thailand last weekend.
The Presteigne ace, riding for Aruba.it Ducati, toasted the 28th victory of his career while recording the fastest lap of the race in 1:33.627 on the Buriram circuit.
Davies said: “It was a fantastic race. To come away from Buriram with a win makes me so happy.
“I have always struggled in Thailand in the past and it’s been a long process to get into a winning position.”
The race two victory completed a superb weekend for Davies who ended the opening race of the weekend in third spot.
Davies said: “I am looking forward to Aragon now. Our package is competitive and hopefully I can find some consistency.”
