THE Grooms Garage Mid Wales Stages will now be held on May 27.
The original event was cancelled due to the heavy snow which struck the region earlier this month.
The one day 44 stage mile event will be based at Newtown’s Hafren Centre and utilise the forests of Hafren and Forest Experience complex in Carno.
The rally will also be a qualifying round of the Pirelli MSA Welsh Rally Championship, Welsh Historic Rally Championship and ANWCC Forest Rally Championship.
Clerk of the course Wayne Jones said: “We were disappointed to postpone the original rally but truly had no choice. We could not even get to the stages to use them.
“Ever since we have been in talks with championships and landowners and are delighted to announce the new date of May 27.”
