Hay St Marys edged the spoils in a 3-2 win at Abermule with goals from Darren Horrigan, Chris Preece and Matt Tong cancelling replies from Tommy Jones and Will Denham.
Meanwhile Ollie Woods’ hat-trick helped Newbridge to a 7-0 win at Penybont with Lyndon Jones, Aeron Powell, Jake Bufton and Ryan Lawrence completing the rout.
