BUILTH Wells manager Chris Jones has challenged his players to complete a double this weekend.

The Bulls travel to Presteigne on Saturday with the club looking to bounce back from last weekend’s Spar Mid Wales League Cup defeat at Berriew.

On Sunday the Bulls host Radnor Valley in the semi-finals of the Aspidistra Radnorshire Cup.

Jones said: “Obviously the league and promotion is the priority for us this season.”

Jones is a former Presteigne favourite having helped the Llanandras Park club to the Spar Mid Wales League One title in 2007.

“However it has been few seasons since Builth Wells Football Club have been in final of Radnorshire cup and this great chance to get there.”

Jones will utilise his squad this weekend with two games in as many days representing a challenge.

However Jones insisted it also represented a chance for fringe players to stake a claim as the Bulls look to end the season with silverware.

“It’s a chance to rotate our squad with us having two games this weekend and giving fringe players a chance to impress,” said Jones.

The winners will take on Knighton Town in the final who beat Newbridge in their semi-final last week.
