LLANFAIR United prevailed in a nine goal thriller against Radnor Valley at Mount Field.

United made the breakthrough with goals from Josh Astley and Toby Evans either side of the half hour mark before Valley hit back with a Sam Lloyd piledriver and penalty from Joey Price.

Price seized upon an error in the home defence to complete his brace early in the second-half before Callum Matthews lobbed home with 15 minutes remaining.

United soon responded with Alun Hughes breaking into the area to reduce the arrears before Karl Seliaerts levelled and with time running out Astley completed his brace to seal a thrilling victory.

Meanwhile Llanrhaeadr returned to league action following the end of their Welsh Cup adventure with a Tom Evans inspired 5-1 victory at Llanidloes Town.

Further goals from Tom Bailey and Dan Graham completed an emphatic victory for the villagers with Ashley Owen netting a consolation for the hosts.

Welshpool Town maintained pole position with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Llandrindod Wells.

Goals from Ian Probert and Adam Davies won the day for the Lilywhites with Ryan Sims reducing the arrears for the Spamen in an evenly contested encounter.

Elsewhere Berriew proved a class apart in a 7-1 thrashing of struggling Borth United at the Talbot Field

Harry Watkins and Luke Vickers led the rout with both completing braces while further goals from Jake Mann, Jack Weaver and Dewi Hughes completed an emphatic win with Ryan Davies netting a consolation.

Aberaeron also hit the goal trail with Mattie Davies starring with a hat-trick in a 4-0 win at Kerry with Ianto Evans completing the tally for the Seasiders.
