BISHOPS Castle Town will press ahead with the next chapter of its development this summer.
The J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League Honda Division One champions have secured a long term lease on the old pavilion situated next to their Manor Ground pitch.
The club is now pressed ahead with fundraising and seeking grant aid to replace the old structure with modern changing rooms.
The club hopes to gain the support of the Football Foundation, Sport England and the Shropshire Football Association for the project.
The club retains ambitions of joining the Mid Wales League despite being barred by the Football Association of Wales (FAW) with their offer of claiming a vacant place in the second division rejected last season.
The club won Honda Division One of the J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League and the Tanners Town Cup this season but will not be considered for promotion to the second division of the Mid Wales League despite its ongoing vacancies leaving the league to run below its maximum quota of 16.
