THE Mid and North Powys Junior Football League held its end of season festival at Llanidloes Town Football Club last weekend.
Hundreds of young football players enjoyed the annual showpiece.
League secretary Paul Inns said: “The end of season festivals are a great to way to close the season and Llanidloes did the league proud in hosting a very well organised weekend of football for age groups between under six and 12.
“Judging from the smiles on the players faces everyone had a fabulous time.
“It was a great advertisement for junior football and with the sun shining throughout the weekend, we couldn’t have asked for more.
“My thanks, on behalf of the league, to all those at Llanidloes who willingly gave up their time to over the entire weekend, in order to make the festival so successful.”
Next season mini festivals will be held at under 6-8 age level and non competitive leagues from under 9-12 while competitive leagues will operate from under 14 to 16 level
