FOUR Crosses ran riot by sweeping aside Maesyrhandir with an emphatic 8-1 victory to book their place in the final of the Robins Montgomeryshire League Cup.
Crosses shone under the sun at Waterloo Rovers’ Maesydre with Jamie Evans and Ben Simms both completing doubles.
Further goals from Ryan Jones, Steve Pugh, Sion Griffiths and Kyle Wilson booked the villagers a final date with Waterloo in Guilsfield on Monday.
Maesyrhandir were never in the tie and drew scant consolation from Cenwyn Jones’ reply as Crosses eased to an emphatic victory.
