NEWTOWN Wanderers claimed a point from a 2-2 draw with Llanrhaeadr Reserves in Mitsubishi Division Two of the J T Hughes Montgomeryshire League.
The only match to survive the weekend weather was contested at Newtown’s Latham Park, highlighting the need to install more artificial pitches across the region.
Dave Ash and player-manager Leon Williams netted for the Black and Ambers but the visiting villagers hit back for a point with Iolo Jones and Alex Hall on target.
