MACHYNLLETH Reserves eased their Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League One relegation fears with a 7-2 win at nine man Padarn United.
Alex Jarman, Ryan Jones, Callum Page and Paul Jones struck to give Mach the lead before Padarn rallied through a Paul James hat-trick.
However Padarn were reduced to 10 men when Billy Williams saw red before goals from Dez Roberts, Jake Hinge and Drew Page sealed glory.
Padarn scored a late consolation penalty and ended with nine men.
Meanwhile Tywyn Bryncrug Reserves completed a 4-1 win over Penparcau in the second round of the Len and Julian Newman Memorial Trophy.
Ben Holt struck twice with Ethan Rodgers and Sion Edwards also on target while Dylan Bailey hit back.
