Queens Park 1 Guilsfield 3

GUILSFIELD returned to winning ways by hammering a nail in the relegation coffin of Queens Park.

The Guils made heavy weather of their lowly hosts with the returning Asa Hamilton missing a host of chances before breaking the deadlock.

Chris Cathrall and Jack Richards combined for Callum Bromley to net on 29 minutes and just seconds later Hamilton doubled their lead.

However the hosts reduced the arrears before half-time with Tom Burclark’s shot deflected past goalkeeper Lee Andrew by Curtis Weetman.

Guilsfield dominated the second-half and restored their cushion on the hour with Jack Harris releasing Adam Jenkins to slot past goalkeeper Richard Cowdery.

Guilsfield continued to dominate but failed to further extend their lead as the contest petered out at Stansty Park.

GUILSFIELD: Andrew, Bromley, Richards, Rogers (Leonard), Ford, Weetman, Cathrall, Jones, Hamilton, Harris (Lloyd), Jenkins. Subs: Cook.
