Montgomery 204-9 beat Willey 186-7 by 18 runs
MONTGOMERY maintained their early season promise with an 18 run win at Willey.
Ieuan Griffiths (46) top scored with Aaron Ruff-Cock (38), Rob Bennett (38) and Tom Corfield (32) defying Lindsey Rudd (2-42), Matt Pritchard (2-31), Kieran Hatton (2-45) and Glen Edwards (2-37) in guiding Monty to 204-9.
Ruff-Cock (3-21) starred in reply, snaring opener Richard Plant LBW for 39, before Edwards was caught by Rob Bennett of Ed Bennett (1-47) for 50 and Shane Hatton fell to Harry Wilkinson (1-37) for 48 to as Willey closed on 186-7.
