Alberbury 247-7 beat Albrighton 118 all out by 129 runs
SAM Morris starred with six wickets as Alberbury strolled to a 129 run victory at Albrighton.
Mike Crawshaw (65) was joined in a 72 run partnership with Charles Bourne before the latter was caught off Chris Morris for 25 to introduce Adam Lawrence (27) in a 40 run stand for the second wicket before falling to Morris (4-75).
Mark Jones and Sam Morris formed a 55 run fifth wicket stand to guide their side to 197 before the latter was caught off Mike Woodhouse (2-52) for 27 to leave Jones (61no) to guide Alberbury to 247-7 to defend.
Albrighton were reduced to 37-4 in reply with Morris (6-35) including the top scoring Chris Moseley (21) and Darren Shimmons (21) in his haul while Lawrence Fletcher (2-14) and Oliver Corbett (2-5) completed Albrighton’s demise for just 118.
