ROB Wall rolled back the years to inspire Builth Wells to a 120 run victory at home to Brockhampton IIIs in division one of the GB Liners Marches League.

Steve Anderson (44), Winston Williams (21) and Aled Powell (21) laid the foundations before a flurry of wickets left the Bulls tottering at 129-4.

However Sam Williams recording a second successive half century before departing for 67 while Cgris Roff looked set for a superb ton before holing out on 96.

Richard Galton (38no) and Mike Williams (22no) cleft Builth handily placed at 341 with Ryan Price (3-62) doing his utmost to hold back the flood of runs.

Price (63) was joined by David Glinos (50) in leading Brockhampton’s reply.

Wall (5-66) ripped the heart out of the visiting line up with Williams (2-22) and Arthur Davies (2-24) ensuring the visitors all out for 222.

Meanwhile Builth IIs lost by three wickets at Garnons IIs in division three.

Ian Morgan (24) and Ezra Tattersall (18) set the tone before Jon Curzon (99) and Martin Hurst (55) led the Bulls to 239-6 with Curzon departing on the verge of his ton.

Simon Withers (46), Andrew Mawdsley (20), Christian Ferreira (62) and James Gittins (49) guided Garnons to 240-7 in reply with Eurig Towns (2-26) leading the Bulls attack.

Presteigne also tasted defeat in a five wicket reverse at Canon Frome IIs.

Opener William Bartholomew (5) and Nick Layton (53) led Presteigne 216 to defend with Jason Fletcher (3-30) and James Hughes (3-33) sharing the wickets for Frome.

Hughes also led the home reply with a top scoring 65 before departing to Mark Oglethorpe (2-44).

Lee Traylor (2-29) maintained the pressure but Will Stephens (64no) was not to be denied and led Frome to 219-5 in the 44th over.
