ALBERBURY will bid to mount a Henshalls Division One title bid this summer.

The border club will once again look to Dan Leach after his impressive haul of 314 runs last season while the ever reliable Mike Crawshaw will also look to repeat his outstanding 240 runs with James Harrap also going into the season with confidence.

Allrounder Harrap will also play a key role with the ball having claimed 25 wickets in 2017.

The Pecknall Farm side boast an outstanding bowling attack which will be led by Andy Holloway following his 43 wickets last season.

However Holloway can depend on reliable support from Harrap as well as Sam Morris who also took 25 wickets last season.

Meanwhile Myles Thomas and Oliver Corbett also claimed a host of wickets last season to go into the new season with confidence.

The second string will once again be in action in the first division of the Shropshire Reserves League.

Alex Hughes and James Hearle will look to be among the runs after top scoring last season while also ensuring the next generation of Alberbury cricketers continue their development.

Preston Fletcher and Steve Morris will lead the bowling attack having been the side’s top wicket takers last season while Hughes, Steve Jarrett and Rob Owen will also look to contribute.
