CAERSWS entertain Porthmadog on Saturday (2.30pm) with manager Dave Taylor warning his side to avoid complacency.
The Bluebirds won 3-2 at Porthmadog in the Loosemores League Cup last week but Taylor warned his side faced another battle.
“We have had a decent start to the season and having beaten Porthmadog in the cup just a week ago we go into the game with
confidence,” he said.
“However one bad result can send us all the way back to the drawing board so we must keep our focus and treat Porthmadog with every respect.”
The Bluebirds will be without suspended defender Gareth Sudlow who saw red in last weekend’s 3-0 defeat at champions Llanelli.
“It was a harsh red card but I do not think it had any bearing on the final score,” added Taylor.
Former Porthmadog midfielder Dave Hughes returns to the fold after missing the trip to Stebonheath Park, while Taylor revealed he is chasing a new signing.
“We are in talks but there is nothing definite so at the moment we are planning with what we have on the books already,” he said.
One player set to leave the Recreation Ground after seven seasons and 190 Bluebirds appearances is Andy Mulliner.
The 37-year-old boasts over 460 games in the top flight and still holds the appearance record at TNS with 266 full appearances.
