TAMIR Law inspired Llanfyllin to their best performance of the season at home to Aberystwyth University.
Law has been in golden form since returning from injury and fired the Magpies into a deserved 15th minute lead.

Llion Jones doubled the tally with a composed finish before Andy Burt crashed home a 20 yard free-kick to reduce arrears.

Law completed his brace by heading home Dale Williams’ right-wing cross early in the second-half only for Mark Cook to reply within a minute.

Llanfyllin pulled away in the latter stages with Llion Jones completing his brace and Nigel Jones converting Bobbie Phillips’ accurate corner.

There was even enough time for University goalkeeper Stuart Strangewood to save Law’s penalty after Nigel Jones had been upended.

LLANFYLLIN: W Evans, Hughes, D Williams, R Jones, M Williams, S Morris, R Morris, N Jones, L Jones, Law, Phillips. Subs: Ellis, Boyd, R Evans

ABER UNI: Strangewood, M Jones, Bloxom, Fernando, Parkes, Locke, Burt, A Jones, Greaves, Cole, Cook
