STUART Fraser fired a hat-trick as a youthful Aberystwyth Town Reserves launched the defence of their title in style.
Academy starlet Tom Bradshaw added a brace for the rampant Seasiders, while Daniel James, Alex O'Keefe and Gwion ap Dafydd completed the opening day rout.

Caersws Reserves struggled to create any openings against the youngsters and were dealt a further blow when midfielder Dan Dawson sustained an ankle injury.

Manager Nicky George said: “This was always going to be a difficult opening mach against a very accomplished young Aberystwyth side.

“However we must now look to get over the disappointment and try and get some points on the board.
